Although APM ticket sales are viable, as with most arts organizations, ticket revenue covers only a portion of the costs to produce our full season. The partnership with visionary, generous individuals and institutions sustains APM’s extremely high level of professional artistry, and ensures the continuation of Maestro Flores-Caraballo’s exciting and innovative programming.
Your support enables APM to provide outstanding education outreach and performances to over 1,000 children and families annually in our arts-in-education programs. For many students, these programs are truly transformative, providing an experience that helps to define their life and career. Our vibrant education programs include:
- Artist Apprenticeship Program
- High School Choral Festival
- In-School Workshops
Commissioning new choral works is critical to our mission and to Maestro Flores-Caraballo’s vision. By funding a commission, you support the creation of new art, making you an integral part of the collaborative, creative process. A significant gift may also carry a dedication in your name on the music score.
Streaming and radio broadcasts extend our performances beyond the concert hall to a global audience. Your support ensures everyone has free access via radio and the web to great choral performances, and extends the life of APM’s concerts.
Recordings forever preserve APM’s artistry, establishing a legacy, elevating APM’s profile around the globe and attracting new fans outside the concert hall. Your contribution ensures that our recordings of significant choral works are shared world-wide.
What Difference Your Support Will Make
Your gift to Albany Pro Musica can transform not only individual lives, but an entire community as well. Whether it is providing support for the arts-in-education program or providing critical resources to produce our exciting Troy Savings Bank Music Hall concerts, your support will impact thousands of individuals and secure the future of this dynamic Capital Region performing arts organization.
